ABOUT me
I fell in love with photography in 2020 when I was asked to capture images for a business’s social media. Before that, I mainly focused on landscapes, but I quickly discovered how much I enjoyed photographing people. To refine my skills, I began volunteering at events, and before long, friends and colleagues started reaching out for professional portraits. I dedicated myself to learning more—taking online courses and applying new techniques in every client project. I’ve also been hired by reputable wedding photographers and videographers in the Fredericksburg area.
In 2024, I turned my passion into something bigger, and Melanie Noreen Photography was born. My goal is to create timeless, heartfelt images while giving back—10% of every project’s revenue goes to charity. They provide corneal tissue to people in developing countries to restore sight and change the trajectory of someone’s life, who otherwise wouldn’t have the funds to have a corneal transplant surgery.
